Stem4Her Program Kicks Off for 2020
We have the dates set for 4 fabulous female speakers to speak at STEM 4 HER at Shorewood High School. Keep checking the site as we get them scheduled! Shorewood Schedule
Overview of the Program
One way to encourage girls in STEM topics is to help them see where it could take them in the future. STEM 4 HER aims to inspire and motivate high school girls to stay connected to STEM subjects as they select high school electives and college programs. We achieve this by inviting female speakers from a variety of STEM related careers to share their stories of navigating high school, college and finding the careers they love. The students hear about the choices, successes, failures and excitement along the way to become a career women who love what they do.
This is the fourth year of the program running at Shorewood High School. This means the seniors graduating in 2018 have had the opportunity to hear from STEM career women every year they've been at high school!
We would be delighted to hear from you if you'd like to be a speaker or have suggestions for great speakers.
Please contact us directly if you have questions.
